In 1985 RRP started as a joint venture founded by a few oil companies. Their intention was to transport rough oil of tankers and storage tank in the Europoort/Botlek area over land to oil refineries in the Rhine-Ruhr area in Germany. The most efficient, safe and environmentally beneficial way to do so is by means of pipelines. In 1960, the system to transport rough oil was implemented in the company. After the replacement of the Dutch part of the system with a pipeline with a larger diameter (from Europoort), because of required capacity expansion, the existing pipeline was commissioned for product transport in 1968.
RRP wants to be a pipeline company that works very efficient and customer-oriented, delivers arranged quality, safe and environment-minded acts and gives our employees an defiant job in a decisive, efficient and pro-active acting organisation. In station-maintenance and pipelines, RRP wants to settle itself on worldclass level.
Bizon Software is a successful OEM-partner of BCT since a couple of years. Finall FactFlow uses the technique of CORSA/INVOICE.
After an in-depth selection process, RRP has decided to implement FactFlow within the organisation. “Most of the budgetkeepers operate at a decentralised location. FactFlow offers RRP many advantages in processing all these invoices. Moreover digital filing is a very efficient consult. In addition the concept of Bizon offers many possibilities to extend FactFlow towards a complete DM system.” Says Gerard de Man, Manager Finance, Administration & ICT.
The first quarter of 2008 will be used for the implementation of the project.
